Stainless Steel Pickling

Technological Process

Stainless steel pickling is a process that is performed mainly for functional and aesthetic reasons. Through pickling, surfaces get rid of surface impurities from the production process. Thanks to this treatment, stainless steel features greater resistance to corrosion and the parts have a high-gloss surface. The aesthetic appearance of the parts is used for commercial purposes by some customers.

Pickling is carried out with sulfuric acid H2SO4 (solution without nitrates).

Line

Pickling is performed on a manually-controlled line. If necessary, we can process small barrel parts from a diameter of 3 mm up to rack parts sized 850 x 500 x 400 mm, depending on their rack.

Passivation

Pickled parts can also be passivated. For more information on passivation, feel free to contact us.
