NEW GENERATION

Thick Layer Passivation

This passivation is very popular for its good corrosion resistance. It has a shiny silver color with a touch of rainbow. With subsequent sealing, it is really unbeatable.

Blue Passivation

It is the “basic” type of passivation. The result is a typical blue glossy look. Sometimes this passivation is also referred to as white passivation.

Black Passivation

The parts galvanized on the rack line using black passivation feature a beautiful deep raven-black color.  However, they must be handled of very carefully as they are prone to mechanical damage.

Yellow Passivation

It is the least used type of passivation, but for some projects it is still an indispensable type of corrosion protection. The result is a deep yellow color.

Sealing Options

The purpose of sealing coats consists in achieving the required friction factor. The application of coat prolongs the service life of parts and increases their corrosion resistance.

CAUTION! Most sealing coats cannot withstand heating. That is why they are not suitable, for example, for subsequent powder coating.

Barrel Line for Galvanizing

Monthly throughput 300 tons.

Alkaline method of galvanizing.
Maximum barrel capacity 80 kg.
A fully automatic line with the archiving and traceability of data and process history.

Inspection of the Process Correctness

The plating quality inspection shall be carried out with measuring tests using three pieces from each barrel or rack. The measurement is carried out using a non-destructive method with the X-RAY device. Moreover, our operators check the plating visually (in particular, they focus on the integrity and color of parts).

The correctness of plating (in particular, the integrity and color) is also visually checked by our operators.

Certificates, Certificates of Conformity

The certificate of conformity is issued on the basis of measured values which are stored in the internal system. The certificate guaranteeing conformity shall be drawn up upon the customer’s request for each article of goods and delivery separately. The certificates are available for downloading in the client zone.

De-embrittlement

The hydrogen bake out cycle of parts consists in heat treatment at around 200 °C for 2 to 24 hours, depending on material hardness. The hydrogen bake out cycle must begin immediately after galvanizing. Through the hydrogen bake out cycle, the parts made of harder materials (over 1,000 Rm) are protected against the risk of hydrogen charging and hydrogen embrittlement of the matrix, of which they are made.

Corrosion-Resistance Testing

The tests of the prescribed corrosion resistance for galvanized parts and parts with zinc-nickel treatment are carried out internally in our laboratory, using salt spray tests.  The salt spray tests conform to “automotive” standards, and their output is always a report indicating the result.

The internal tests of corrosion resistance also help us check the correct process settings.  The corrosion-resistance tests are also offered as a separate service.

Common standards, based on which the neutral salt spray (NSS) tests are performed: DIN 9227, ASTM B117,...
